Bioscience Education Lab

The Education Lab is an exciting opportunity for students to do practical workshops related to today's cutting edge bioscience industry.

Enhance the science learning experience for your students by visiting a high specification lab at Biocity (the UK's largest bioscience innovation and incubator centre).

Aimed at 14+ and 16+ students throughout the East Midlands, this is a chance to do some 'exciting' topical practical bioscience related to their course but is not normally facilitated in the school/college environment.

Some of the workshops available:

	Bottle your own DNA and make a necklace
		Solve a murder mystery using DNA fingerprinting
		Genetically engineer glowing bacteria

How it works:-

• Option 1
  Select from the fully prepared workshops as listed on the enquiry form. All the workshops are risk assessed and facilitated by experienced scientists.
  
  
• Option 2
  Hire the laboratory and resources to conduct your own session.
